Week Beginning 18th November
We have come to the end of yet another busy week. Thank you to those parents who attended our Book & Biscuit session this week, the children really do look forward to this.
Literacy
This week the children have begun to innovate our class story by changing the title. Our class story is now called The Colossal Carrot and the children have chosen their own title including The Huge Potato and The Colossal Ginger.
Maths
This children have been using their subitising skills this week as well as counting and ordering numbers. They were also able to show me their understanding of what ‘equals’ means using cubes, blocks & fingers to support.
Healthy Teeth
The children have been learning about how to keep their teeth healthy. They shared their knowledge of what they can do to look after their teeth & then enjoyed cleaning the pretend teeth. We still need to work on using only a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on the brush!
