Extra Curricular

At Bozeat Community Primary School we believe in being a small school that offers our children BIG opportunities.. By offering and encouraging all of our children opportunities to participate in the wider curriculum we know that our children will not be confined by predetermined expectations but will push the boundaries to explore their passions, interests and future goals.

Sport

We offer an extensive range of sporting activities, with regular events taking place alongside the clubs. We also welcome a variety of different coaches throughout the Year to offer specialist coaching in a number of different sports. These sessions take place during the School Day.

Before School and Afterschool Clubs

We offer a range of sports based before school and after school clubs – currently we have Dance provided by Dynamix Dance Group, Gymnastics and Football provided by GLK and Acrobatics and Tumbling provided by Twisted Arts. Other clubs sometimes run for specific terms across the year.

Rocksteady and other music lessons

Our children have the opportunity to take part in weekly music lessons provided by Rocksteady and NMPAT who offer a range of peripatetic music lessons. Additionally our Year 3 children also have the opportunity to partake in learning an instrument through the first access projects offered also by NMPAT in school.

Our choir have enjoyed taking part in a number of choir festivals this year including ‘The Big Sing’ held at the Royal and Derngate and Young Voices that was held at the National Arena in Birmingham.

Our older children also have the opportunity to learn the hand chimes and regularly perform in the local community.
