Week Beginning 31st March
This week the children have been learning about Easter and why some people celebrate it. The children made daffodils and Easter cards.
They also had fun using the large equipment in PE with Mr Roberts from Wollaston school.
Maths
The children have been looking at all the different ways they can make 5. They have used Die Frames and 10 Frames to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding. They have been continuing to count forwards and backwards to 20, ordering the numbers 11 to 20.
Literacy
The children have written their innovations for Jack and the Beanstalk this week. Instead of a golden egg that Jack finds, the children had to choose their own item. There were lots of different ideas including a golden guitar and a hotdog!
We hope you all have a lovely Easter break and we look forward to seeing everyone on 23rd April.
Next term we will be looking at farm animals and their young and also thinking about life cycles.
