What a fantastic week in Panthers!
On Thursday, we celebrated world book day where all of the children showed a great effort in dressing up as Characters from Alice in Wonderland. It was amazing to see everyone in their costumes to celebrate the joy of reading.
Each child has been given a £1 book token redeemable in local shops such as Asda, Sainsbury, Tesco, WHsmith and Waterstone. There are a range of excellent books to choose from!
This week in science, children explored the importance of roots. They had a look around the school outdoor area to pick some roots from weeds so that we could have a closer look at them.
In Maths, children have been looking at equivalent fractions and converting improper fractions to mixed numbers.
Children took part in a Golf workshop which they enjoyed. They learnt how to aim the ball correctly through playing some fun games.
Children will be doing Tennis on Thursday mornings which will replace Tuesday PE. GLK PE will be as normal on a Friday.
