On Monday this week the children had celebration assembly to celebrate out of school and in school achievements.
Tuesday saw us complete a ‘Junk Drumming’ session where you could make music from a range of objects and turn them into instruments. The children very much enjoyed this session and were able to pick up on the beat and rhythm of the music very well.

Writing
In Writing this week the children have identified wishing tale words and been able to provide a definition for these and have compared their model text to another wishing tale text and have located and identified language used in these to make them similar and or different.
Maths
This week the children have been completing and finishing their fractions unit of work. We have looked at fractions on scales, on number lines, equivalent fractions and how they are equal to others and fractions on bar models.
PSHE
During PSHE this week the children have looked at how we keep ourselves and others safe in various environments including swimming pools, hospitals, playgrounds, crossing roads and kitchens. They discussed the rules of follow, what guidance and advice an adult might give them and what they would do to help someone in a dangerous or unsafe situation.
