An excellent last week before a well deserved break.
This week in Geography we looked at famous landmarks and traditions in the regions of Spain such as flamenco dancing and food such as tapas and paella. We explored the different regions’ popular foods and discussed how they came about.
In Art, children have created excellent final pieces recreating the ‘Son of Man’ by Renne Magritte. It was great to see how creative the children were and watch their ideas come to life.
After half term children will be doing Tennis on Thursday mornings. Usual Tuesday PE and Friday GLK will also continue.

Reading:
Children should be reading 5 times a week. Reading records will be checked on Wednesdays.
Times tables:
Children should be practicing their times tables weekly on TT rockstars in preparation for their times table test on Friday afternoons.
Children have received their Spring Homework grid which is due on Friday the 28th of March. They need to chooose a minimum of 3 activities to complete.
