Another great week in Panthers.
On Tuesday the children had a taster session for Jadokuindo which is a type of Martial Arts. The children enjoyed learning some different moves and received a leaflet to bring home with information about when and where the club would be running.
In Geography, children have begun to learn about Spain and explored where in the world it is located as well as which countries and oceans surround it.
In Art, children have been very intrigued in looking at different Surrealist art and artists. They looked into the different sections of the artwork and thought about whether it may have a meaning.
In Maths, children have looked at different ways to multiply 2 and 3 digit numbers. They have been practicing using number lines and part whole models in order to decide the method which they prefer and find the most efficient. Next week children will be looking at dividing 2 and 3 digit numbers. It is important that children constantly practice their times tables, not only for the weekly times table test, but to also help children during lessons.
