This week saw Monday as our World Book Day Assembly to discuss what the children will expect from the celebrations. Our class text for the day will be Matilda – the children can come in dressed as anything to do with the book not just the characters in it.
Writing
In Writing this week the children have mapped, dramatised the text by adding actions to their images drawn as well as completing a never heard the word grid. We are looking forward to our next weeks learning which focuses on diary entries.
Maths
This week the children have learnt dividing a 2 digit by 1 digit number through no exchange, flexible partitioning and remainders. They have also looked at scaling and how to share their knowledge learnt of multiplication and division in many different ways.
