This week in Lions class children had a fantastic time at the local church for their ‘Experience Christmas’ event. In Writing, children in Y6 have started to learn about how to write an advert and Y5s are learning to write an explanation. In computing, children created 3D pencil pots using TinkerCad and they specifically found out about how to an object as a placeholder to make a hole in another object. They had a their final session with Saints this week and enjoyed participating in a competitive tournament in various teams.
PE – Lessons are planned for Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons this term but children will need their PE kit in school every day.
Homework
Reading – You should aim to read 5 times a week at home, these reads should be logged in your reading record and brought to school every day.
Times Tables – You should practice these through the week in preparation for a check on Fridays (You will be able to use TT Rockstars online platform.
You will be tested on your spellings and times tables on a Friday and Reading Records will be checked on Mondays.
