This week Lions presented their class assembly to us we really enjoyed watching their composition of dance linked to their learning of the planets and solar system. On Tuesday we had Brian from the Salvation Army come in to present church assembly. This week he talked about differences between animals and told the children a story about Jesus and the amounts of objects given to his people.
Writing
In Writing this week the children have looked at our model text of Capital cities in the UK or Countries of the UK. We have highlighted features which fit in with those of a non-chronological report and have boxed up the model text as well as beginning our innovation ideas.
Maths
This week in Maths the children have extended their knowledge of subtraction using the column method – with more in depth practice of this we are hoping to put this to the test in our next Arithmetic lesson and be able to answer questions confidently using this method.
Class Assembly
We have been practicing a lot for our class assembly this week – the children are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and understanding with you. The assembly will be held on Tuesday 26th November 2024 at 2:45-3:15pm.
