What a fantastic start to Autumn 2 we’ve had!!
This week Mr Rust has welcomed us back with an assembly about Fireworks and how we were staying safe during our viewing of different displays. On Tuesday we also had church assembly.
Writing
In Writing this week we have been working towards our hot write by completing a class tolkit for how to write instructions, a class box up to innovate on our ‘How to make breakfast’ model text. Changing this to ‘How to become a doctor’ and also creating our own box up innovation ideas into our own writing books.
Maths
In Maths this week we have been looking at adding and subtracting with no exchange. It is great to see the children being able to use the column method more confidently this week. They have been able to follow the rules when we ensure numbers are directly beneath one another in order to show which we are adding and subtracting and so that it clear to show our answers.
Computing
This week we logged into the computers using our logins and used the chat button on teams to send messages to one another. The children really enjoyed this as we talked about networking and how we use networks to speak with others.
