What an amazing week in Panthers.
In History, the children explored how archaeologists find evidence about prehistoric times. They also learnt about the Cheddar man and why his discovery was an important discovery for archaeologists.
In Math’s this week, we have used the column method to practice adding two numbers together with exchanges, next week we will start to look at subtracting two numbers from each other. The children have tried so hard with their presentation!
In Art, children had a great time creating their stained-glass windows using paint mixed with glue to create a design of their choice.
Next week: PE will be on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday.
Children will be doing a reading paper on Monday morning and Maths Paper 1 and 2 on Thursday.
As part of World Mental health Day on Thursday 10th October, as a school we completed a metal health activity relating to the theme ‘Hello Yellow’. Each class had a different letter, and Panthers had the letter ‘L’ which was ‘Learn to relax’. As a class, we discussed different things which might help us to relax our mind and body when we feel stressed and worried. Each child then drew something to represent this inside the cloud.
