This week we have been on a Geography walk around the village to learn about road signs. We found out that most road signs are at the start and end of a street. We had to look closely to see some of the signs as they were attached to buildings.
In Art we have been experimenting with shape and colour. This week we were only allowed to have blue, yellow and green to see if we could combine them to make different colours. We used the work of Kandinsky as inspiration to see if we could print with our new shapes. We seemed to like printing straight sided shapes and we found that they make the best lines. We found curved shapes harder to pick up and curved lines were harder to make.
In Computing this week we have been experimenting with the mouse and keyboard. Most children found using their pointy finger easier to use on an Ipad rather than the mouse attached to a laptop computer.
We used the website paint.app. To test our skills on the computer. We had to make a picture with a partner that used all of the buttons along the top row of the website.
