Y3 Meet the teacher evening
In Writing this week we have been reenacting and talking our model text ‘Mr Big’. We have also created a vocabulary map and begun our comprehension discussion around the different features that the text holds.
In Maths we have finished our understanding of numbers to 100 and have moved onto 1000s. The children have enjoyed using practical equipment and drawing representations of the numbers shown.
In PSHE we have started our learning with the British Value of ‘Tolerance’. The children found this really interesting when discussing the different beliefs, faiths and cultures of people around the world.
In History we have continued our learning of Vikings where we have looked at what life was like in Britain 700AD. The children were intrigued to find out what children had to do back in the Middle Ages. They came up with lots of lovely questions which we are looking forward to finding out the answers to as we move through the term.
